Lost items are retained for a period of 30 days from the date they are found, after which they are donated to local charities.
Lost and Found hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Our offices are closed on weekends and city holidays. Lost items may be claimed by appointment. To see if your lost item has been found, and to set an appointment, please call 415.621.6600 or email WMPAC-LostAndFound@sfgov.org.
